Maya Radoccia-Kennen, BSW, IBCLC
I have 13+ years experience as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I was inspired to become an IBCLC as a Social Worker serving rural Arizona families. I continually watched nursing families struggle and not reach their lactation goals due to a lack of support. I decided to be the change and bring skilled lactation care to Northern Arizona!

Here are a few reasons to reach out:
- Breast or nipple pain
- Expecting a baby
- Latch and positioning challenges
- Pumping, bottle feeding, and safe formula preparation
- Bottle refusal
- Returning to work
- Plugged ducts, engorgement, and mastitis
- Tongue-tie
- Breast-pump rentals
“The first few days of motherhood are so bittersweet. Mom and baby learn life together outside of the womb. Breastfeeding is so magical but can be overwhelming. I endured cracked, bleeding nipples for 3 weeks but was determined to make breastfeeding successful. I am so thankful for Maya’s support during this time. Not only did she teach me physical ways to improve breastfeeding but also taught me that I am perfect for my baby. I can feed my baby…and I did feed my baby. Successful breastfeeding is so important in those early days and will make or break a mama. Thank you Maya for helping me make it as a breastfeeding mom.” -Korina C.
